Tarragon essential oil: not only in the kitchen!
Originally from the Middle East, tarragon was already used by Arab doctors in the year 1000.
This plant has the same main constituent as basil: methylchavicol ether as well as anethole, a molecule of the same family. This explains a great familiarity of aroma and very similar properties, although more specific on the side of the tarragon.
